Laminations

A common means of bonding knitted, woven, and non woven textiles to a wide variety of substrates, using adhesives such as natural latex and acrylics.

This method is relatively inexpensive and cost effective. It is the most commonly used method for laminating open celled, polyurethane foams to a wide range of substrates.

This is a solvent based means of laminating. Spray lamination does not compromise the feel of the fabrics, hence it is popular when laminating thin delicate materials.

Powder is applied in a solid form as a coating or between two fabrics. The powder is then melted via heat and this results in a laminated or coated product. There are many choices of powders with different melt points and performance properties.

Using flatbed laminating technology, this process utilizes a wide range of laminating films and webs to meet your needs. Generally, web laminations will have a very soft handle.

This technology uses a gravure roller system to apply reactive hot melt to the laminate in a random dot pattern. It is very effective for laminating waterproof or breathable membranes as it enables breathability in the finished laminate. This process is also suited for soft and lightweight fabrics as it does not negatively effect the handle of the fabric.
